Character Information

Character Name: Joonghyuk Yoo (유중혁, Yoo Joonghyuk)
Canon: Omniscient Reader (webnovel)
Age: Physically 28KR (international age 26), but he's lived 1864 lifetimes. So mentally in the thousands like five digits.
Daemon Name: Niah (赫)
Daemon forms: Black jaguar, grey wolf (but in black), and hawk.
Background: bam, but i also have my outline. also, fans have documented his trauma.
Canon point: chapter 529.
Personality: Yoo Joonghyuk is described in the eyes of ORV's protagonist, Dokja, several times in the novel. On top of being very handsome, Dokja went on to say Joonghyuk has "an awful personality" and that he's a "psychopath" who would "kill if words don't work (sometimes just kills)," but his humanity still persisted in the earlier regressions. Technically, Dokja's account of Joonghyuk isn't wrong.
Joonghyuk is quite rude, seldom showing any polite behavior to anyone aside from his teacher, the Breaking the Sky Sword Saint, and that's because the story he acquired to be her disciple binds him to call her "Master." Most believe he gets away with what he says due to his strength and his handsome face. If only that was the only problem with his personality... Joonghyuk is calculating and distrusting thanks to the premise of his novel. His thought process is pragmatic, decisions harsh, and the respect he garners is out of fear or awe. In general, Joonghyuk doesn't come off as personable. He is difficult to approach due to his cold exterior, let alone befriend. It doesn't help that he doesn't communicate well nor does he try to correct misunderstandings.
Despite being methodical and realistic, Joonghyuk is an idealist at his core. If he didn't care about people, or the world, he wouldn't regress as many times as he did to see a happier ending. In this hellish cycle of revival and death, his stubbornness and unyielding nature shines bright. Sometimes, he's broken. Sometimes, he loses sight of what's important, but he can always be brought back. Importantly, Joonghyuk is human, burdened with the heavy loneliness of regression.
Motivations: To protect what he wants to protect has always been his goal. Joonghyuk is heavily motivated by an ideal future where his loved ones are alive and living well. For this happy ending, he's willing to go through the scenarios that pit him against other people and killing anyone in his way. They are but sacrifices to reach the end, the conclusion, of their story. While at this canon point he's a bit more noble thanks to Kim Dokja's influence, he's still willing to cut people down if that's the only choice they have left.
Another motivator is curiosity; Joonghyuk wants to know the true nature of his existence and it has been one of the main reasons to his regressions.
Moral alignment: Chaotic Neutral/Good
Measurements: 184 cm, average weight, hand, and foot size.
Item: [Dark Heavenly Demon Sword]. Yes, it's a high-grade sword with a black blade and gold accents.
Greatest sin/virtue: You think he would consider them sins or virtues... Such descriptors are useless.
HOWEVER, I, the player, believe Yoo Joonghyuk's greatest sin is a mix of greed and pride. In the novel, he wants so many things (from items, skills, information, and useful people), but then he also wants something unattainable—a happy ending. He once believed the universal law that sacrifice is necessary for every good story, but now he resists against that, too. Wrath because Joonghyuk generally has a short temper...
His virtue would definitely be diligence. Joonghyuk works immensely hard and he follows through on his promises for the most part. Can't stop, won't stop.
Tell us a story: Even if the end of this world is a tragedy, do not think that you have all failed.
Role: yes love me
