Oh, it's the gear we use to fight. We can grapple to high places and propel ourselves through the air.

Uh, monsters that can be up to 15 meters tall that eat people.

I know what titans are, but I'm assuming they aren't those of Greek mythology.

They sound like it, though.

I don't know, that's just what we call them.

But really, that's all they do.

Mm... I didn't have much interaction with Titans. Mostly Giants which also eat people, but they're capable of reasoning and speech.

And so these god pleasers would set up scenarios where people are forced against each other. A lot of the early ones have you take someone's life or else you will die.
