They did. Mind you it wasn't really human, the words sounded garbled and a bit distorted but you could sorta make out what they were saying.

[ He tires to think and... ] "Let us die." They kept repeating that.

"You left us here. Let us out." [ His gaze focuses ahead of him, thinking. ] Though, they weren't necessarily talking to us. When they were, they mentioned a He. "He sent you here, to mock us."

[ At the question, he laughs, only to wince. Ouch. ]

A lot. Suigetsu and Power tried to cut them down but they just kept coming.

Whoever He is, they talk as if He has damned them. Them not being able to leave, not being able to die.

[ The question really is who is He. Who has damned so many to such a fate? ]

I've always wondered if angels in this world served one deity like that of the world Kim Dokja and I come from. There are very few books back in the other city that spoke more than just the angels.

... But I read a passage that said some angels are loyal to something. The words were smudged, but it cements what we have been thinking.
