How unfortunate. Though similarly my room was rather lacking for some pieces... though none of them were particularly modern. I wonder if there were limitations on our accommodations... though very specific ones.
but mikazuki seems pleased, and he will lead the way toward his room. he... needs a second with the lock and key, because he truly barely knows how to use it, but they get in eventually.
mikazuki's room is a very typical japanese-style room with tatami mats and shoji screens! in fact, it may be a bit difficult to place as a bedroom at first glance as the main pieces are a set-up for tea and entertaining guests, some seat cushions, and the way that the opposite wall seems to open up to reveal the upper half of the crescent moon. there is the illusion of the room extending out onto the engawa, so that you can have a seat to admire the grand view even though it looks like the world simply drops off beneath your feet.
off to the side there is a now-empty sword stand, and the primary decor consists artfully arranged ikebana pieces. a desk sits in the corner with all the regular amenities, and a one of the shoji doors will part to reveal a closet. inside there is his selection of clothes as well as a rolled up futon.
the aura of the room is simple, but everything is of the highest quality and finest craftsmanship. it is truly just artistic minimalism and a giant fucking moon.
he turns to yoo joonghyuk with a smile.]
There was a sword here - [himself, which now rests at his hip] but I am not in the habit of collecting my comrades.
[ Damn... It is the citadel room. Joonghyuk leers at the scenery seen beyond, not so much at the moon but more so at the stars. Niah, however, doesn't show similar distaste. He sniffs at the floor a bit before padding around a little. ]
It's simple.
[ Based on his tone, it isn't an insult. Aside from the view which he obviously dislikes, he seems pleased? ]
[aka if he's just gonna trust yoo joonghyuk's description of events
which, sure, might as well for now]
I am but a crescent moon, and so perhaps I do not have the place to critique the stars and the heavens. But regardless of propriety, I feel no kinship for beings that will keep themselves aloft by believing everyone else lesser.

[ Does... Grandpa know these? ]
All fake.

... Can't believe he's going to ask this, but. Closes his eyes. ]
Is your room a room decorated with swords?

he just smiles]
Would you care to see for yourself?

I'm not interested in men.

I am a sword?

That makes sense to him. ]
Fine.

mikazuki nods in agreement though]
It is. I find it comfortable.
... have the stars done something to offend you, Yoo Joonghyuk?
[why so leery]

I dislike them.

Similar to how Bradley Bain dislikes the moon? Or for different reasons?

What can they do aside from laugh and sneer.

... I have never been quite so high above - but I consider watching humanity something of a gift and an honor.
I have never witnessed the course of one's life that is worthy of mockery or derision.

But in the end, no one lives their life to be watched and enjoyed like a drama.

Ha ha ha, I consider it a matter that has little to do with nobility.
... but you are correct. Then I, too, share your derision for your stars.

You do?

Would you say the same if one or many of your previous owners have ascended to those seats?

[ So he knows historical Nobunaga, technically. ]
I haven't met his incarnation. Scenarios are concentrated in their own countries before they become international.
