[ Urianger also speaks in a tongue older than dirt, but that's fine. Joonghyuk is also drawn to the walls of this place. They may seem like unfortunate stains on the city, but they tell some story... A time before any of them arrived.
While he never got her name, he has seen the profiles and remembers her. Except she is doing a strange thing. ]
[It's a lucky thing that Alisaie has a steady sense of balance, otherwise she might have fallen right off that chocobo! She does start at the sound of his voice, but aside from a slight wobble she's fine as she looks his way.]
There's a carving on this wall. I was hoping to get a better look at it.
[She's not moving, but she'll point it out to him to see--a sort of winged pattern surrounding a curious center.]
Is it? [She returns her attention to it, looking at the carvings with a new eye and craning her head back to look from a bit further back. She'd been distracted by the wings.] Good eye. I think you've got the right of it.
[After taking another long look at it, she hops down from Taf's back, patting him fondly.] But why would they have carved these wings here? One can hardly imagine they would want to draw these angels to this location...
Forgive me. In the last world I was in, creatures shaped like these angels were naught but mere monsters, drawn to attack living beings. Those who believed otherwise were only being controlled by a madman. They too were faithful--and many of them died for it.
[Oops someone still has feelings about things.]
I pray these angels were more benevolent, though I admit I find it hard to believe they were.
whatever it is it is fine

[ The wolf daemon investigates the chocobo once before looking up, also cuurious to see. ]
I'd wonder if there are more to these wings, but... [ He squints and tries to get a better look? ] The center is reminiscent of the tower?

... It's foolish to not question those in power, even if they're the ones that provide.
[ ... ]
Unfortunately, while I don't believe they are monsters in the literal sense, I'm reluctant to think they're benevolent.
[ This place is abandoned... And, well, they were just talking about faithful followers dying in two different scenarios. ]
