[she glares back at him, though evenly. she's wearing a more sensible trousers and button down with a bone corset, and she has a large sword around her waist that looks way too big for her.]
[ Niah does stop sniffing when he's done. Joonghyuk eyes her sword and squints cause... It does look to big for her. His own is proper size for himself. ]
[ Niah is just chilling, well-behaved. Doesn't bark or bother. There's a glint of interest in Joonghyuk's eyes when she says she's the best. ]
"Supreme King" is a title of the strongest—the king among kings. Royalty has little to do with it. [ He doesn't care about that. ] Games were part of my old profession.
3. You open a door and immediately hear a roar. Before you can see what's inside the room, a creature bursts out and screams in your face. The face inside the snake's mouth is someone you know from home. Their expression is a mixture of bloodthirst and terror. You get the sense that they want you dead. You sustain one minor injury, but the door slams shut on the creature before it can hurt you further. If you try to open the door again, it won't open, but you will hear your friend's screams from behind it.
They can happen to be in this hallway together, all coincidence and not intentional.
He opens this door and a creature sure comes out at them. While he sees one of the persons (the other can be Harrow's person) in its mouth is someone he knows, he takes out his sword and he's about to try to stab it. Does she TELL HIM HE SHOULDN'T? ]
[ Nice. The snake hisses as it's stabbed in the side, then Joonghyuk's sword runs through its head. Despite what should be a fatal blow, it writhes and snaps at them. Its python teeth graze or prick them, drawing light trickles of blood.
[ Joonghyuk doesn't want to move too much, so he's in the courtyard, sitting at the garden patio. No longer stinky this time. Just kind of staring at his sword.
Niah is the one that greets her first though, padding up to her to give her a look. ]
[ Niah gives her a greeting blink, animals just do that, and follows her back here. It takes him a moment before he looks up and register that she's here. ]
... You didn't need to come check on me. [ His tone isn't harsh, just tired. ] Fine.
[ But then he coughs a bunch of petals, lilac in color. A lot of petals. ]
[ We are at the cemetery! Just looking at these graves with arms crossed, but the weekly effect simulates letters on his figure. They're multiple lines of different strokes and orientations, possibly separated phonetics on paper white. They ascend as if someone is scrolling on a tablet, reading.
At least Niah notices Harrowhark and comes over to greet. ]
[hei your memshare coding just gets more and more every time. anyway. she comes away from the memory with her hand over her mouth, because as always, she understands him too well. she doesn't want to understand this, but more than anything else she does.]
[ if only i pre-wrote and prepared everything beforehand...
So they must suffer this awful weekly event. It would have been better if these memories played like films where you're left to interpret, but no. They have to feel the comfortable emptiness and the cruelty of hope.
He crosses his arms. ]
... That's right. In the end, my greed was stronger than my weariness.
PRE-W0: SUNDAY.
Joonghyuk, however, merely stares at her. No greeting. It isn't a glare, but his eyebrows are always furrowed, so... ]

Your page says you're a king who plays a lot of games.
